Language services are high in demand throughout the United States. CyraCom has supported many charities through donation of our interpretation service, ultimately helping limited-English proficient families who are in need.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES
A Ronald McDonald House provides a “home-away-from-home” at little or no cost to families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child. At every House, families enjoy home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, and playrooms for children. CyraCom has been donating language services to the Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2005.
CyraCom donated Over-the-Phone Language Interpretation and Translation services to Make-A-Wish Arizona, the state chapter of the international wish-granting organization.
Make-A-Wish Arizona has granted more than 4,200 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions since its founding in 1980. Make-A-Wish Arizona is the original chapter of Make-A-Wish®, the international wish-granting organization that now has more than 67 state and international chapters.
Through CyraCom’s language resource support, Make-A-Wish Arizona effectively communicates with limited-English proficient children and their families to help ensure that their wishes come true.
CyraCom has many strong ties to the University of Arizona through its current students and recent graduates. Many UA students and graduates work at CyraCom in a variety of fields throughout the company: interpretation, sales, marketing, finance, and others. We donate to the UA because we believe in supporting excellence and innovation in Tucson through the University.
The Arizona Center for Innovation, Office of University Research Parks hosts IdeaFunding, Tucson’s premier networking, business integration, and knowledge sharing event for investors, entrepreneurs, and students. CyraCom presented the event in 2012 and 2013.

At CyraCom, we believe businesses should give back to the community that hosts them. CyraCom sponsors many local organizations that promote education and community development where CyraCom offices are located.

Youth On Their Own (YOTO), a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a drop-out prevention program that supports the high school graduation of homeless, unaccompanied Metro Tucson youth ages 13 (or in 8th grade) through 21. YOTO enrolls students in public schools—including charter and alternative schools—and motivate them to obtain their high school diplomas despite personal and financial hardship.
With community contributions and support from organizations like CyraCom, YOTO has assisted over 10,500 students in achieving their educational and personal goals to graduate high school and become self-sufficient, productive adults within their communities.
INTERFAITH COMMUNITY SERVICES
